Prabhat’s huge smile on his face turned to rotten egg like expression on seeing what was printed

Prabhat’s heart sank, to what extent that he could only imagine. All universe was in his visuals searching for help, but in vain. Couldn’t find anyone who could come for his rescue. Suddenly Shanaya said in whispers: “Prabhat, I think I like you”. OMG, Shanaya committed that she had started liking him, a millionaire girl was feeling for him. But what was he upto,even not capable of paying the bill of their first meeting. He was so confused by the situation, that his emotions were quiet visible on his face. The fact was that he in shock at the current situation of the bill exceeding his budget, but Shanaya thought it was due to her feelings that she had just expressed. Shanaya asked him what happened, she would not force him to like her. Hearing this Prabaht at once said “I like you too, dear”. A mixed emotion of happiness and shy charmed her face. Still our hero was in a dilemma what to do. Shanaya expressed further that she wanted to spend some time with him, so that they could understand each other .If it would be possible for him then he could stay in her city for some time else she would come to his place. So his heart would collapse now. He thought, if she would come to his place, the reality would reveal, as he had no history of his business, his status or anything .He at once said: “Sure I will stay for you”. But meanwhile he was all tensed about payment .He was only looking at Shanaya, nodding his head to her words but still searching for help. His eyes were staring outside the restaurant if he could see something for his help. His eyes searched a Pawn Shop just opposite to the hotel. Pawn shop is a place where one can sell something for money. He got an idea of selling his watch which he was gifted by his editor where he worked earlier. He asked for excuse from Shanaya to attend a call and went outside the hotel.

He ran straight to the Pawn shop and sold his watch, but he did not get in return as much money he required. He wanted more money but had nothing to sell.He asked the shopkeeper if he could sell his Blazer too. “Yes” the shopkeeper said. He sold his blazer too. Now he had enough to pay the bill, he rushed back to his table. Shanaya asked what happened to his blazer he gave an excuse that his friend was outside for some important work and it was too hot outside so he kept it in his car. He was relaxed and made plans where to meet next, she promised him to make him explore her city. They finished their lunch meanwhile having some gossip. Now it was the time for the payment.

The waiter took the bill and went away. He was waiting for the waiter to return the exchange as he had only few money left with him and huge task ahead. He had to stay in her city at least for a week and bear all the costs obviously it was his man’s attitude. He was much tensed from inside as he was now sure that sooner or later he has to tell the truth as it was not possible to survive in the city and bear expenses of “would be girlfriend” who was a millionaire. Shanaya asked him that they shall leave but our hero didn’t wanted his last few pennies to spare to the waiter. He asked her to sit for a moment as he was waiting for a call from his friend and eagerly waited for the waiter but to his surprise a man with Manager batch on his chest came to his table with the bill in his hand and said: “So sorry mam, the waiter is new recruitment, he could not recognize you”. Prabhat was surprised, asked the manager what happened, why he was sorry.
